For the third year running, on October 21st, Ryecroft Glenton staff swapped their usual office attire for something pink and had fun raising money for breast cancer awareness.
Each year Wear it Pink raises around £2m during Breast Cancer Awareness month for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity Breast Cancer Now. The money raised is used to fund world-class breast cancer researchers across the UK and Ireland who are working on how to prevent, detect and effectively treat breast cancer.
Our event was organised by Fiona Hall (pictured in wig) who said “We had a great day supporting ‘Wear it Pink’. As well as wearing pink we decorated the office, played some games and raffled a pink cake.”
Well done to our staff who raised an amazing £408 for a great cause.
