The Government’s Coronavirus Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) has so far provided financial assistance of £7.6billion to 2.6million self-employed individuals.
A second round of support is to be provided under the SEISS from August to those whose businesses have been adversely affected by Coronavirus on or after 14 July 2020.
However, as the second round of funding opens up, the window to claim the first SEISS grant closes.
If your business has already been adversely affected by Coronavirus, the latest you can make a claim to the first SEISS grant is 13 July 2020. Eligibility criteria and details of how to make your claim can be found here if you haven’t done so already.
