On 1st November one of our members of staff, Stephen Armstrong, took part in a zip wire across the Tyne from the Newcastle side of the Tyne Bridge to HMS Calliope on the Gateshead side of the river, to raise money for charity. Stephen chose Headway Newcastle and North Tyneside, a charity that he has an involvement in.
Headway NNT focuses much of its time on supporting families and organising fun events and social evenings to aid recovery and look to re-introducing normality to the lives of its service users. Headway works to improve life after brain injury through its network across the UK. It provides support, services and information to brain injury survivors, their families and carers, as well as to professionals in the health and legal fields.
We would like to congratulate the Headway NNT team for raising in excess of £1,250 for a brilliant cause.
