Ryecroft Glenton Zip Wire Team

A team of 23 staff and partners from Ryecroft Glenton are taking part in the Zip Wire challenge from the Tyne Bridge on Saturday 27th October to raise funds for St Oswald’s Hospice, which provides specialist care to North East adults, young people and children. St Oswald’s is close to our hearts as many of us have had relatives cared for at the hospice and the care and support offered is exceptional. St Oswald’s relies on the generosity of supporters to raise the £7.5m they need each year to provide specialist services. Each year the hospice cares for over 2,000 North East adults, young people and children with life-limiting conditions, and also provides support for carers and bereaved adults and children. No charge is made to patients for the services provided ensuring expert, dignified and compassionate care is available to all. Our target is to raise £2,300 and we have set up a Just Giving page for everyone to kindly donate. To start our fundraising, we held a raffle in the office on Friday 14^th September and had a number of prizes to give away. We raised £300 which will go towards our final target.
