The RG quiz team of Gordon Wilkinson, Paul Wake, Stephen Callaghan, Jonny Delaney and Peter Glenton were narrowly beaten into second place at the Womble Bond Dickinson/Handlesbanken ‘speed’ quiz at As You Like It in support of the Sunshine Fund.
Only 2 wrong answers separated them from the winners and despite leading at half time they fell back after getting certain movie dates wrong (the team failed dismally at guessing the year of release of Robin Hood Prince of Thieves and Skyfall…).
More importantly over £3,000 was raised on the night for the Sunshine Fund and Stephen managed to win a rather impressive looking hamper for coming first in the ‘heads or tails’ warm up competition.
