Ryecroft Glenton (RG) has reached an agreement with TurnerFelix Associates (TFA) to provide pro bono business mentoring to clients of the advisory firm during the coronavirus pandemic.
A long-standing RG client, TurnerFelix Associates is an established board-level mentoring specialist working with chairs, chief executives and senior executives of national and international companies.
TFA can deliver online, virtual mentoring sessions for business owners and directors of RG clients at no cost during the COVID-19 crisis.
The team is experienced in working with senior executives on issues pertinent to running a business during this challenging period including new corporate structures, time management, and managing both the reputational and emotional aspects of a crisis.
This is the latest initiative offered by RG to support businesses impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.
The Newcastle-based advisory firm has also established a collaboration with RTC North, through Scaleup North East programme, to help businesses in the region access part-funded strategic advice and support, which will assist them in securing funding via the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS).
Chris Robson, Managing Partner at RG, said: “Working through a crisis is always a tough time for business owners and senior executives, but this unprecedented situation has brought new challenges. Having the opportunity to speak to an experienced business mentor can be a real help when dealing with sensitive and challenging issues and we are really pleased to be able to work with TurnerFelix Associates to provide this opportunity to our clients during the pandemic.”
Paul Turner, Principal at TurnerFelix Associates, said: “As a client of RG we are proud to work with the business to provide pro bono mentoring support for its other clients. We are trusted advisors to our own client base, providing a confidential sounding board to help senior executives tackle a wide variety of challenges. This is an exceptionally testing time for business leaders and through our free online sessions we aim to help them manage the change that is taking place in their organisations.”
