Ryecroft Glenton, one of the North East’s leading business advisory firms, has grown its team by recruiting 16 individuals across its seven service lines, following an increased pipeline of work.
RG, with offices in Newcastle, Northumberland, and North Tyneside, provides a range of advisory services including corporate finance, tax, accounts, audit and wealth management.
This summer, the firm welcomed a string of experienced professionals and graduates who are set to bring their expertise and energy to the firm.
In the Personal Tax service line, Bernadette Smith and Kim Armour have joined as Personal Tax Seniors. Bernadette arrives from a Big Four firm after a period of travel and Kim, an Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualified professional, previously worked with a local independent firm. Kim is studying for the Tax Technician and Chartered Tax Advisor qualifications.
The payroll team has recruited Adam Boumedjane and Leanne Morris as Payroll Assistants. Adam, with a degree in Economics from Manchester Metropolitan University, joins on a permanent basis after completing a fixed-term contract as a payroll administrator. Leanne gained her wealth of knowledge from various businesses.
Joining the Outsourced | FD service line are George Butler and Tilly Logan, who have joined as Outsourced Advisory Assistant and Outsourced Advisory Executive respectively. George has a degree in Business with Accounting from Northumbria University and will start his studies to become a chartered accountant next year. Tilly, a qualified chartered accountant, previously worked at an independent firm in Harrogate.
Euan Mulholland has joined the Corporate Finance service line as a Corporate Finance Executive. Having trained with a Big Four firm, he is a qualified chartered accountant and brings a valuable skillset to the team.
The Audit and Assurance service line has seen two new additions in the form of Jordan Trower-Quinn and Paul Collins. Jordan, a qualified chartered accountant, formerly worked with two large independent accountancy firms, while Paul Collins has extensive experience working with small to medium-sized local firms.
Harry Robinson, an AAT qualified professional with a specialisation in the agriculture sector, has joined as an Accounts Senior. He is set to begin his studies for the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA) qualification in September, showcasing his commitment to further professional development.
The firm has also hired several graduates, who are embarking on their journey to become chartered accountants, starting their studies in September.
Ryan Hill, with a BA (Hons) in Business with Management and an MSc in Finance from Northumbria University will take up a role as Audit and Accounts Assistant, alongside Daniel Robinson, who holds an integrated masters degree in Law from Northumbria University, and Patrick Holliman, a Mathematics graduate from the University of Leeds.
Taylor Glover has joined RG as a Tax Assistant. He has a degree in Mathematics from Newcastle University and will be starting to study for the ACA qualification in September.
Loukas Vassilounis, with a degree in Accountancy and Finance from Newcastle University, joins as an Audit Assistant in the Audit and Assurance service line and will also be studying to become a chartered accountant.
Lastly, in the support team, Gordon Oates has been appointed as an IT and Infrastructure Apprentice.
