RG Staff are in the pink!

Even though most of our staff are working from home, on Friday 26 February they took part in the Breast Cancer Now Wear it Pink campaign, swapping their usual attire for anything pink. They raised a fantastic total of £890 for breast cancer care.

Breast Cancer Now needed our help and support more than ever this past year. The money we raised goes towards making life-saving breast cancer research and life-changing care so they can provide support for today and hope for the future. The breast care nurses, staff and volunteers are making sure that anyone diagnosed with breast cancer gets the physical and emotional support they need.

The charity Breast Cancer Now has an ambition that by 2050, everyone who develops breast cancer will live. To achieve this their research is focused on how to prevent breast cancer, how to detect it earlier and how to treat it effectively at every stage.

Thank you to Fiona Hall for organising the RG Wear it Pink day and to all staff and partners who took part and contributed to the total amount raised.
