Each quarter we shine the spotlight on a specific sub-sector within the technology industry. This quarter we take a closer look at the EdTech sector.
The UK tech market continues to be very active with 302 deals recorded between July 2022 to September 2022, with approximately 38% relating to an acquisition or a sale, whilst 54% of these deals related to a funding round. Software has held the top spot for the most active tech sub-sector for M&A in Q3 22 and London continues to lead the way geographically, with 37% of all deals in the quarter.
