Welcome to the summer edition of our Financial Journal.
I am very pleased to introduce the summer edition of our Financial Journal which includes a wide range of topics that I hope you will find interesting, relevant and helpful.
Following the second anniversary of the start of the pandemic, it is pleasing to enjoy a more normal way of life in both our business and social lives. It is particularly refreshing to be able to take part in face-to-face meetings and attend events which had to be mothballed during the lockdown period.
Our board rooms are back in full swing, and we look forward to welcoming our clients and our professional friends back to our offices.
As we celebrate our 120th anniversary I am pleased to report that we have never been busier and consequently, our focus on the recruitment and development of talent has never been sharper. In this edition we are proud to announce a number of well-deserved promotions and also several new appointments across three of our service lines.
On the subject of talent, it gives me great pleasure to announce that two members of our staff have been nominated in this year’s North East Accountancy Awards. Congratulations go to Rachael Best who has been shortlisted for the ‘Rising Star Accountant of the Year’ Award and Amanda Cooper who has been shortlisted for the ‘Accountant of the Year’ Award. We wish Rachael and Amanda success at the forthcoming awards evening.
I hope that you will find something of interest in this edition. If you have any feedback or would like to discuss any of the topics covered then please do get in touch.
