Expertise:
Anthony has worked in the field of taxation for more than 25 years, during which time he has gained an enviable breadth of knowledge across multiple sectors and situations, helping his clients retain the wealth which they have worked hard to accumulate.
On leaving university where he studied psychology, Anthony joined “big four” firm, EY, training to become a specialist personal tax and private client adviser, providing compliance and advisory support to high-net-worth individuals and their families, including those with commercial interests involving professional services partnerships, landed estates, and rural businesses.
Since joining RG, Anthony has continued to focus on personal tax and private client matters, assisting our broad spectrum of clients to mitigate their income tax liabilities, capital gains tax liabilities, and to reduce their exposure to inheritance tax on family and business succession.
Whilst Anthony continues to work with a wide range of clients, much of his time involves supporting our agriculture and landed estates team, providing sector specialist advice to help our clients find a tax efficient solution to their problems or concerns, to help them achieve their goals in the most tax efficient way, and ultimately to give them peace of mind.
Extra-curricular:
Anthony is at his happiest when spending time with his family, who together have a love for the outdoors and camping, and they can regularly be found exploring the Lake District and Northumberland.
