Ryecroft Glenton ‘Wear it Yellow’ for the Great Daffodil Appeal

On Friday 31 March Ryecroft Glenton held a ‘Wear it Yellow day’ and joined millions of people across the UK who, every March, show their support towards Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal. Staff members wore yellow t-shirts, ties, blouses, hats and wigs to help raise money for the cause.

The Great Daffodil Appeal has been running since 1986 and helps to raise money for Marie Curie in order to offer free hands-on care and vital emotional support to people living with terminal illnesses. During 2016, nearly 2,200 Marie Curie nurses provided more than 1.2 million hours of nursing to over 30,000 people.

As well as wearing yellow for the day, the office was decorated in yellow and staff held a sweepstake, raffle and cake sale to raise an amazing £648. This amount was matched by the firm and a fantastic £1,296 was donated to the Great Daffodil Appeal.
