Trainee accountant and member of Ryecroft Glenton’s charity accounts team, Adam Tindale, recently took part in a charity boxing match. The event was organised by White Collar Boxing, an organisation that arranges amateur boxing bouts which have raised thousands of pounds for various UK charitable organisations.
All participants receive 12 weeks of free training at a local boxing gym with professional coaches and at the end of that period are fairly matched based on weight, fitness and ability, to ensure fair competitive bouts.
Adam’s chosen charity was the Alzheimers society, which is important to him as both of his father’s parents lived with the disease for a number of years.
After 12 weeks of strict training and dieting, Adam secured a win and hopes to continue to compete at an amateur level.
